Downtown Orlando will host the 9th Annual Florida Music Festival and Conference this Wednesday, April 21st to Saturday, April 24th. The four-day event was named “Top Music Festivals” by SPIN Magazine, while promoters of the event affectionately call it “The Biggest Music Bar Crawl in the Southeast”.
The festival will showcase 50 bands at fifteen different venues throughout Downtown Orlando. Top headliners like VH1 buzz band Parachute will perform at The Social on Wednesday night. Central Florida’s very own Anberlin returns to their home stage at Wall Street Plaza in the heart of Downtown on Thursday. Friday boasts Less Than Jake on the Florida Music Festival Mainstage. Finally, Rusted Root will close out the festival on Saturday night with their own brand of world music and roots rock.
The popular Florida Music Festival is considered to be the least expensive rock and roll bar crawl in America, with One Day Passes on sale for only $10 each. The festival is expected to draw 25,000 music fans to Downtown Orlando’s Central Business District.
