Orlando, Here Come the Holiday Celebrations!

Holidays are dancing their way into our lives once again, and with them come downtown Orlando celebrations and parties galore.  We take our shopping shoes off just in time to put our dancing shoes on, and this year there are plenty of shindigs where you can cut a merry rug from now into the New Year.

A great time and popular event, Chillers and Big Belly Brewery host the start of the 8th Annual Santa Stumble in downtown Orlando, at 33 W. Church Street.  For $12 in advance or $15 at the door, celebrate by dressing up as your favorite holiday character and tag along with the pub crawl to Ember, Latitudes, and Antigua, where you’ll get a free domestic beer or well drink at each stop along the way. Tickets may be purchased in advance through www.orlandosportandsocialclub.com.

Another bar crawl to join in on the fun for is December 19th, with the 12 Bars of Christmas pub crawl. Beginning at 8:00 pm in downtown Orlando at Finnhenry’s (39 N. Orange Avenue) After Finnhenry’s, the caroling pub crawlers will stop by Idependent Bar, The Lodge, Tabu, One Eyed Jack’s, Wall Street Cantina, Slingapour’s , WaiTiki, Antigua, Chillers, Big Belly Brewery and Latitudes. For more information visit www.orlandopubcrawl.com.

SantArchy II requests you don your version of a Santa suit, and spread the holiday cheer with a few drinks in honor of St. Nicholas himself.  Last year, the streets of downtown Orlando were filled with a variety of Santas, and this year we hope for even more.  SantArchy II begins at at 7 pm Pine Street Bar and Grill (68 E Pine Street) on Saturday  December 19. More information on this event can be found by visiting www.santarchy.weebly.com.

On Christmas night starting at 9, A James Brown Christmas will offer vocal sounds of “Godfather of Soul”.  There is no cover charge for this event, hosted by Will’s Pub (1040 N Mills Avenue in Orlando).  Further information is available by calling 407-898-5070.

For family fun, a temporary ice skating rink will be located in Lake Eola Park during the holidays.

All these events are just walking distance from scenic Eola Park and The VUE at Lake Eola.  The VUE is a new 36-story, 375-unit luxury condo high rise in downtown Orlando, on the corner of Rosalind Avenue and Robinson Street.

Walking distance from the developing Performing Arts Center and a great selection of Orlando bars and restaurants, this downtown luxury urban living Orlando high rise condominium has a beautiful view over Lake Eola and Lake Eola Park, providing an unsurpassed luxury urban lifestyle.
